Research topic: "Improving simulations of large-scale dense particle-laden flows with machine learning: a genetic programming approach."
Main research focuses on the development of deterministic reduced models for the meso-scale simulations of particle-laden flows through micro-scale numerical studies.

Vita:

  • 2014: B.Sc. Aerospace engineering at Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University.

  • 2015-2018: CFD Technical Analyst at Optumatics with focus on the development of Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) combustion engines.

  • 2019-2022: M.Sc. Simulation Sciences at the RWTH Aachen University.

Thesis topic: Large-Eddy-Simulation (LES) of an optical engine.                 
Student research assistant at the Institute of technical combustion (ITV) RWTH Aachen.

  • Since 06.2022: Research assistant/PhD candidate at the Chair of Mechanical Process Engineering.
